Our workbench surfaces are of a material chosen to not impact any finish they come in contact with. Each isolated repair bench has a charcoal activated air filter and rest/viewing area for the waiting customer.

Tools and equipment span across 2,000 square feet, and include a refinishing room, a metal workshop for manufacturing one of a kind missing parts, a wood shop, and much more.

Major Structural Repair on a Custom Collings Acoustic \| Gretsch White Falcon Case: Broken Neck and broken Headstock on Collings Guitar A tall Texan was having a great time with this Collings acoustic guitar, till he held it in the air and a heavy duty ceiling fan cut the headstock clean off. He loved the custom neck on this guitar, and did not want to have it replaced. The only option was to reattach a new headstock to the neck. The customer was in Austin Texas, and just minutes from the Collings factory. He knew we do meticulous broken guitar neck repairs. The guitar was shipped to us.

Here we clamped and secured the neck, while we prepared the broken headstock area for work	This break was so clean that there were no large fractures to attach to. What we did was to machine two maple dowels at an angle, through the new headstock, and into the top of the neck., just under where the nut will be.	The folks at Collings Guitars supplied me with a new rosewood overlay, that would conceal the dowels, and allow the headstock to display the Collings Logo.

I stained the new headstock to closely match the Collings color, after speaking with Collings about the mixture.	Here we marked the new tuner holes, and inlaid the new Collings logo in Pearl.	We applied nitro-cellulose lacquer to the headstock.
