Above is our Stevie Ray Vaughan
Replica Stratocaster Guitar
Extreme attention to detail. All gold
hardware, aged and worn in the proper positions and point of use. Parts are
aged individually to replicate the natural wear.
Bodies are stained yellow, then covered with
Fender Fullerplast, then black, followed by
red, then cleared. Wear then goes through each color stage, with the
Fullerplast remaining as a undercoat, just as Stevie's was.

Remainder of White SRV paint on the top horn
are put on top of the clear then worn and chipped.
Even though we go for the exact marks,
scratches and bites that the strat suffered, each guitar has its own
identity.
When we relic the parts, each one kind of
asks to be treated in a certain way. Maybe some areas were not suited for
wear, and if we applied wear in that position, it would look rather fake.
Each guitar has it's own identity and will be
something you can be sure you can call yours.
The Guitar on the Left is
Ours.
The perfect replica decals are placed in the
exact location after viewing hundreds of photos, The decal sizes are exact,
just as the ones SRV found at truck stops.
The open area for the left trem conversion is
filled with hardwood round stock, just as the SRV Number One.
Gold trem is chemically aged in the natural
wear areas. Left handed arm is replaced with a right handed arm, also in
gold. Pickguard is Black White Black. Plastic parts are reliced, through our
own secret aging process. While others use Tea Bags, our recipe is stored at
Fort Knox!. All gold screws and hardware are aged as they should be in the
positions they were used. |

Our
Replica $1900.00
Incredible quality
import pickups and our
Replica Neck (rosewood fretboard, maple neck, truss
rod adj at top, our neck cut feels great in your hands). The pickups have
been chosen from an import supplier, to match the tone of the Texas
Specials. Some are slab magnets with steel pole pieces. Trust me on these.
We use these pickups, as well as the best strat players around us.
This is the one we all use. it sounds
and plays great. We've found that when you try to fo for a specific neck
shape, pickup config, etc... it somehow takes away from the magic that goes
into these guitars.

time in the later years, SRV had gold bridges.
Right
handed trem was replaced with a left handed trem. Still used a right handed
trem arm.
The open area that remained after the left
handed trem was installed, was filled with a piece of round stock ash.
Send us your photos of Stevie Ray Vaughn's

This
is what our Fender replica neck looks like. Truss rod adjustment is at the
top of the neck. SRV model includes the burns.
.
Stevie switched to gold tuners, and at times
even had pearl buttons on the tuners. Our replica comes with aged gold
Kluson style tuners. Good photos that show SRV tuners are always welcome.
Send them to us.

This is our replica back.
The back
is aged to the best that we have, based on our collection of photos. We
always like for our friends to send us their SRV photos.
We can setup the guitar with any gauge
strings that you want. Even the .013 monster strings that Stevie used.
Even though we make this as a replica, there
are many ways in which you can make it your own. Texas special pickups are a
great addition, as well as tuner changes. It may look like Stevie
Ray's Number One, but it's yours. |
